Joy is a Master Colorist, HAUS Color Director and 2022 winner of one of the most prestigious awards in the global beauty industry: the Behind the Chair, Big Shot Award in unconventional color. In addition to her international acclaim, Joy has been recognized by MplsStPaul Magazine as a top hair colorist in the Twin Cities in their 2016 Best of Beauty Readers' Poll and has been named in the MODERN SALON 100 of 2021 list.

Joy is known for her vivid color work and avant-garde color placement. She loves creating custom looks for her clients using bold colors such as greens, blues, pinks, and purples. When Joy is outside of the salon you’ll likely find her on a trip exploring different corners of the world. When she’s not jetsetting to a new destination, Joy enjoys spending time at home with her husband and two cats. Joy loves all things Beyonce and would love to chat with you about your favorite movies. She also welcomes those looking for a ‘quiet service’ and is happy to create space for you to disconnect while in her chair.
