HAUS SALON POLICIES
At HAUS Salon we require a minimum 24-hour notice to cancel or change any appointment. Cancellations made with less than a 24-hour notice are charged 50% of the booked appointment value. Injections appointments are charged a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations without proper notice prohibit other clients on our waitlist from being able to fill that slot. To ensure our cancellation policy is upheld we require a credit card to hold any appointment while booking, however you will not be charged until your appointment is complete. We thank you in advance for respecting our policy.
RETURN POLICY
Products are eligible for a return up to 14 days from purchase. All returns must have proof of purchase, either a receipt or record of purchase under a client profile. Products must be unused in order to be returned for a full refund. Used products that are more than 3/4 full may be returned for store credit within 14 days of purchase. Tools, brushes, and accessories are not eligible for return.
Please take time and care when selecting your purchases. If you would like to try a product before purchasing you can contact us at the salon to try a sample.
Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used to make the payment. Example, if a purchase was made via Credit Card, will be refunded to the credit card that was used. Please allow up to 7 business days for processing.
CLIENT POLICY
We are an intentionally inclusive company and welcome all into our salons. We do reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disrespectful to our staff or clients, makes a member of our staff uncomfortable in any way.
CLIENT SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please contact us so we can offer an adjustment. At this appointment, at no charge to you, we will work with you to make the results to your satisfaction. Your adjustment service will be scheduled with the same stylist who performed the original service. Please contact us in order to book an adjustment service within 14 days of your original appointment to qualify for this service.
GRATUITY POLICY
Tips are not required but always appreciated. If you choose, you are able to leave gratuity for your provider via cash or credit card.
EXTENSION POLICY
Not loving your new head of hair? HAUS Salon will remove the extensions at no charge within 2 weeks of the hair extension application. However, the costs of the haircut and hair extension application services are non-refundable. Hair extension removal services requested after the complimentary 2-week removal period will be provided at cost equivalent to service providers’ rate quoted in the initial consultation.
When booking the hair extension application appointment, you’ll be required to reserve your appointment slot with a 50% deposit. First time extension clients must put their deposit down in person and if paying with a card must also provide matching identification. Due to the length of extensions appointments (an average of 3-5 hours), this ensures that the service provider receives some compensation for the time blocked in the event of a last minute cancellation without notice. If you need to move the time of your extensions appointment, call the salon 72 hours prior to your scheduled service and your deposit will remain intact. Any time changes within 72 hours of your appointment will cause you to forgo your deposit. If and when you choose to reschedule the service, you will be responsible for placing another deposit.
GIFT CARD POLICY
With gift card sales, all sales and purchases made with the gift card are final.
COVID POLICY
Effective Friday February 25th, face masks are optional in our salons in alignment with Minneapolis and St. Paul lifting their indoor mask mandates. Upon request, your HAUS Artist will be happy to wear a mask during your service if you prefer.
GREEN CIRCLE
HAUS Salon is a sustainable salon and partnering with Green Circle Salons to reduce the amount of waste we send to landfills. We are able to separate out our salon-specific waste such as foils, hair clippings, hair color, and wax strips and send these particular items to recycling facilities that repurpose them. To make this type of recycling possible, our services include an Environmental Stewardship Fee (ESF) of $3 per visit.
HAIR DONATIONS
If you are interested in donating your hair, our stylists are able to help you properly cut the hair ponytails and/or braids so that they are ready to be donated to the organization of your choosing. We do not mail in the hair donations for clients, however we will provide an envelope as well as an address for Wigs for Kids if you would like. You can request this accommodation at the front desk. Please note, hair donation organizations require at least 12 inches in length and the hair may not be colored or chemically treated.
